I will be reading The Red Necklace by Sally Gardner
I've finished City of Pearl by Karen Traviss and have left a link to it on Mr Linky.
I read other people reviews after I posted mine... and it looks like their choices were better! Good for them!
I've finished my first book, Golden Bats And Pink Pigeons by Gerald Durrell.

Two down!
I've finished my third book for this challenge: Cordina's Crown Jewel by Nora Roberts: http://52books.blogspot.com/2011/02/cordinas-crown-jewel-by-nora-roberts.html
Haven't found yet the book for the Jewelry or Gem category :(
I only lack one book to finish the challenge! I'm waiting for my last book to come out in paperback which won't be until summer.
I figured lots of other folks would read "Girl With A Pearl Earring", but it's been on my TBR for years so I'm glad I finally had the incentive to read it!
I read "The Hare with Amber Eyes" and thoroughly enjoyed it. I learned a lot too.
I have just posted a link to my 5th book in the challenge.
Jewellery or gem category: 'Hearts Of Gold' by Jessica Stirling - a Scottish romantic saga.

WooHoo..finished challenge. Thank you so much for hosting. Had fun with this one and hope you host it again next year.
Finished another one. Click on my link to read about The Queen's Necklace by Teresa Edgerton
Hmmmm, I have a book title with the word "sequined" in it. Can that be classified as "jewelry or gems"?
Darlene -- sure, why not? The gems don't have to be real. I don't mind if you stretch the categories.
Thanks, Beth F. I just linked up "The Island of the Sequined Love Nun" by Christopher Moore. If you like dark humour, you might enjoy. Moore is not for everyone though: He is pretty wacky!
This one was hard, which surprised me. But I found an interesting entry.
Finally found a graphic novel with more words than picture that I liked.
Challenge Complete!!!
I read: Girl With A Pearl Earring by Tracy Chevalier
